Certainly Wood is a founding member of the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme, backed by Defra. All of our products are assured below 20% moisture content. Being the UK pioneers of kiln-drying firewood, all logs are dried in our unique wood-fired kilns with solar panels providing some of the electricity.
To reinforce our sustainability, Certainly Wood is approved under this scheme which provides an assuranced that all its firewood logs have been grown in the UK in accordance with the UK Government Timber Procurement Policy. This promotes active woodland management to create a more sustainable future for British woodlands.

Certainly Wood’s timber is responsibly sourced from sustainably managed woodlands which are usually located within 100 miles of our HQ in Herefordshire. All our kindling is prepared with our new, state-of-the-art processor at our HQ.
FORCE KILN DRIED
Our Ready to Burn kindling is guaranteed to be dried to below 12% moisture, providing you with the ultimate burn quality with maximum heat output. This is firewood that has been force-dried in kilns in a short space of time rather than dried naturally (known as seasoned), so it’s guaranteed to burn perfectly.
CHEMICAL FREE
Our kindling is a natural wood product and works best with our Flamers Natural Firelighters for lighting all fires. Carbon – neutral – when you burn wood the tree absorbed the same carbon it produces when burnt. Our kindling is not made from pallets and has no man-made chemicals in it or on it.
