DeLonghi Magnifica Evo Bean to Cup Coffee Machine
The DeLonghi Magnifica Evo is one of the latest from Delonghi, in the Magnifica range. They’re very similar to slightly cheaper Magnifica S, but with an upgraded milk carafe (on the one touch milk versions) and a newer user interface.
This is the fully automatic, one touch milk version, meaning that as well as one touch espresso and lungo, it’ll do latte, latte macchiato and cappuccino from one touch, too.
The Evo machines are one of the new kids on the Magnifica block, they’re a bit more modern in looks, and have a more modern interface vs the Magnifica S, the one touch milk carafe version also features a slightly different carafe, with a “my latte” function
What this means is that if you want to, instead of leaving milk in the carafe, you can just pour all the milk into the carafe that you intend to use for your latte, and press the my latte button, and have a latte made with all the milk you poured into the carafe.

My only word of advise on the Evo machines is to understand that if we forget the features and focus purely on the components and therefore the cup quality, this is no different to the Magnifica S.
Imagine you’re looking at a car, and one version has some nicer more modern extras, and a slightly different body kit, but they’re the exact same car underneath, with the exact same engine, that’s basically the case here.
So if you’re purely focused on cup quality and value for money, you might want to also look at the Magnifica S, which might not quite look as nice, it might not quite have the same features, but it’ll produce about the same cup quality.
