The set includes the pot, burner, stand and six forks. The ceramic heats gently and evenly, keeping the fondue hot for the duration of your meal.
Traditionally, the pot is rubbed with garlic and then used to melt equal quantities of Gruyère and Emmental. Add a splash of white wine or kirsch and let it simmer.
Serve the molten cheese with crusty bread and baby potatoes for dipping. You can also dunk fruit, vegetables, sliced sausage and meatballs. Cornichons and pickled onions will cut through the richness of the cheese.
