- To prevent uneven wear and tear, rotate your hand-knotted rug regularly. Rotate the rug 180 degrees every six months to distribute foot traffic.
- Avoid exposing the rug to direct sunlight, which can cause fading.
- Spot clean spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Hand brush or light vacuum regularly to prevent dust & crumbs from settling to the roots of the fibres.
- Avoid using the beater bar on the vacuum, which can damage the rug’s fibre.
