Allday Goods Zap Forged Butter Knife, 8cm
This Allday Goods butter knife adds a pop of colour to your table. Part of their ‘Zap’ collection, it has a black blade and colourful plastic handle.
Made from stainless steel, the knife has a rounded tip to scrape the bottom of jars. Use it to spread cream cheese on bagels or jam and cream on scones.
This beautiful butter knife is hand-forged in Somerset, UK. It comes in an off-white box inspired by vintage butter packaging.
The handle is made from waste plastic. The plastic is washed, shredded and melted into the handle shape. The vibrant colours are sure to stand out on your table. No two handles are the same, so every knife is a one-off.
Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe.
About Allday Goods
The founder of Allday Goods, Hugo, used to work as a chef in London and ran his own restaurant. After closing down his restaurant and thinking back of many friends always asking for high quality knives that don’t break the bank. After working in a professional kitchen and seeing how much plastic waste there is, Hugo thought to combine it with notoriously high quality Japanese blades. After a lot of searching and translated zoom calls, he started a collaboration with one of the best knife makers in Japan, Yoshikazu. Hugo’s first knife drop was a small batch of 100 knives was announced on Instagram in March 2021, and all sold out in just over 1 minute. Their first big launch was on Kickstarter in April 2022, where they reached their funding goal in 3 hours, and have continuously been growing since.
