Mill & Mortar Organic Pul Biber Chilli, 45g
Pul biber chilli has a warm, fruity flavour. It’s also known as Aleppo pepper. You will find pul biber in recipes from Turkey and Syria, where the chilli originates.
The flavour of pul biber has been compared to ancho chilli and sundried tomatoes. It’s sweet and earthy with a mild heat level. It can be added during cooking or used as a condiment at the table.
Sprinkle pul biber over baked eggs, kebabs and lahmacun. It’s fantastic with Middle Eastern dips, such as hummus and muhammara. Serve it in pinch pots at dinner so guests can season koftas and chicken shish.
This tangy chilli pepper is ideal for dressings and marinades. Pair it with garlic, olive oil and preserved lemons. The flavours are great with fish and chicken.
