This set of four oval placemats is made entirely from recycled materials, so you can be kind to the planet while you’re decorating your dinner table. They are part of LIGA’s ‘recreate’ collection which features tableware made from naturally organic cork and recycled rubber. Flexible and soft to the touch, the black and brown placemats add a touch of natural beauty to your home.
LIGA’s cork is sourced from Portugal, where it is harvested naturally without harming the cork oak tree. The cork continues to absorb carbon dioxide even after it is transformed into tableware. Variations in the recycled materials mean that each placemat has its own unique pattern – no two are the same.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The placemats may have a faint smell of rubber – this will wear off over time.
